(Morning Rises and everyone wakes up.)

Cynthia: Good Morning. Slept well?

Cyrus: Yes. I did. Well, I guess We'll have to continue on.

Martin: Agreed. but how do We get down?

Teresa: Don't worry. we can always slide down slowly but surely.

Timmy: Hey, that's a great idea.

(Scene to The Burned Remains of NIMH)

Shadowy Figure: I never would have thought that someone like You would have a history with one of NIMH's test Subjects.

Brisby: I don't know what You want from Me.

Figure: Well, I want Your Age. and I, Grendola will become an Immortal Being. (Comes out from the Shadows and raises Her Scepter draining Mrs. Brisby of Her Old age and returned to Her Young Adult Age.) I now need a few more Years for My Tree of Chaos, and I'll be able to grant My Wish. (Laughs Maliciously.)

(Scene to outside Thorn Valley.)

Cynthia: This is it! Thorn Valley!

Cyrus: Um, Cynthia, Are You sure? (Holds Cynthia's Sholder.)

Cynthia: Sure, I'm sure. there are plenty of--

Justin: Halt! (Spears corner the Children.) Who are You?

Cyrus: This is quite an Ordeal We're in.

Mr. Ages: Who are You?

Timmy: It's only Me, Timothy Brisby.

Mr. Ages: Timmy? You've... Shrunk. Stand Down. (The Guards recall Their Spears.) Sorry. I thought You were intruders. let Me show You to Your Rooms and You can tell Me whats going on.

(Inside the Observatory...)

Cynthia: and that's what Happened. Our Mother vanished without a trace.

Mr. Ages: I see. Who is Your friend, Cynthia?

Cynthia: He's Cyrus Grimsey. He's been searching for His parents for 3 Years.

Mr. Ages: We'll You'll have to stop searching. I'm sorry, but Jimmy and Denice are dead.

Cyrus: Dead?

Mr. Ages: Yes. Some time after Jonathan's Death, The Grimseys died some time after They entered a house. I'm Sorry.

Cyrus: I know You are. (Scene to Library.)

Cynthia: Cyrus? I'm really sorry that Your Parents are Gone.

Cyrus: I suppose there's no Cure to bring Us back to Our Correct ages, huh?

Cynthia: Unfortunatly, No. (Cyrus starts to cry.) Come with Me. (Cynthia grabs Cyrus' Hand and takes Him to the Library's Balcony.) I know You like to see the Stars.

Cyrus: True. Cynthia?

Cynthia: Yes?

Cyrus: If it's okay, after Your Brother's Wedding, do think it's okay with You marrying Me, because... I Love You.

Cynthia: Sure. and I You. I thought You'd never ask.

Cyrus: Wow. Your Eyes are like Beautiful Topazes. I... suppose. (just as Cynthia was about to Kiss Cyrus, an Evil Voice scares Them.)

Grendola: Citizens of Thorn Valley, Lend Me Your Ears and listen very Carefully.

Cyrus: It can't be!

Cynthia: You know Her?

Cyrus: Yes. She was pursuing Me for months!

Grendola: My name is Grendola. and I want You all to willingly go to the Burned Remains of NIMH within 4 Days. If You fail to give in to My Demands, I will reveal Your Paradise to the Outside World! You have 4 Days to think it over! (Disappears in a Puff of Blue Smoke.)

Cyrus: Her name is Grendola. and Her plan is to gain Immortality by eating the fruit of the Tree of Chaos. the Tree of Chaos can only grow to its fullest in 1,000 Years time. Her plan is to steal the Ages of Other Living Things and transfers the Age to the Tree. I'm sorry I didn't tell You sooner.

Cynthia: It's okay. You were trying to save Me. but what will We Do?

Cyrus: We'll save Your Mom first, then destroy the Tree before Grendola eats the fruit. But how do We leave without drawing Attention?

Cynthia: Leave that to Timmy. He escaped from Thorn Valley before.
